This is a track I did a couple semesters before I graduated for a project in one of my songwriting classes. It was a basic chord progression and set of lyrics I had written a few years before that, as a slow, acoustic-y, Sting type of song, and rebooted it as a trip-hop / dubstep kind of track. I think it made the transition fairly well. Also, if you can’t tell (well frankly if you can’t tell then ignore the rest of this sentence) I was sick when I recorded the vocals. I make absolutely no assurances about my intonation. Enjoy! (If you’re a soundcloud user, feel free to follow me: geekisthenewcool)
